How to connect
EGYPT-IX has presence in Bahrain’s first Tier III Datacenter, Global Zone. By collocating in Global Zone, you can connect directly to EGYPT-IX.
What do you need to connect?
- An ASN (Autonomous System Number) registered to your legal entity.
- Select your preferred port speed (1G, 10G, 100G).
- Select your service type (Internet Peering).
- Fill an application form to get access to EGYPT-IX portal.
- Sign a Cross Connect agreement with Global Zone.

- Fill an application form to get access to EGYPT-IX portal.
- Contact one of our listed partners directly to arrange a connection.
What's next?
- We will provide you with the demarcation/assignment details of your connection. With these, you will be able to request a cross connect (if applicable). You will also receive the IP address and instructions to configure your equipment correctly.
- Once you have completed the configuration (and, if applicable, the cross connect is connected), please contact our NOC team. They will help you test the connection and bring it into production.
